The Amerikkkan Dream
The Amerikkkan Dream is a narrative-based story that uncovers everyday emotions and problems we face in the Black community. These emotions and problems are greed, misogynoir, mental health, racial issues, and the prison pipeline. This work is meant to do shadow work, highlight some of these issues, and bring a new perspective to audience members.
Women’s Creed
Drawing from the work of Feminista Jones, Clenora Weems-Hudson, and ethnographic research in Ghana, Women’s Creed speaks to the ongoing discussion of Black Feminism and Africana Womanism.
